The First Meeting

Well, one thing is for sure...having 2 kids is harder than 1. (Which explains my lack of updates) I usually post in the evenings, but Miller likes to have a marathon nursing session from about 7-10. Lee thinks the laptop will cause her to grow a third arm, so I'm forbidden to use the computer when she's on my lap.

Things are going very well, and Miller weighed 10lbs 12 oz at her 2 week checkup. I'm sure she's above 11 lbs by now at 3 weeks. Of course, there have been some hairy and hectic moments, usually involving 2 hungry kids and only one parent around to feed them, but that's par for the course I guess.

We started swaddling Miller again, and it has worked wonders. Last night, she slept from 10 to 5:30!!!! This is probably also the result of her marathon nursing session, but whatever it is, I'm doing it again. We've gotten rid of the chair and she's actually sleeping on her back- yay! Now, I'm just hoping and praying that she doesn't develop the horrendous colic and gastro problems that Colby had....time will tell.

Here are some pictures from the past week.

"Peep-eye" Miller came to visit, and Colby enjoyed every minute of it. (we call her "peep-eye" Miller so that he knows the difference between her and baby Miller) They played "peep-eye" on the couch, which Colby can't get enough of.

The 2 Millers....ages 94 and 2 weeks. (shhh....she'd kill me for telling you her age)

Colby continues to be the sweetest big brother EVER.

NO WAY "Peep-Eye" can be 94?? She looks awesome! And you can tell Colby is in heaven playing with her. Good luck getting the hang of the juggling act that is being a mother of more than one. I'd give you some tips, but I don't feel like I've ever quite gotten it down :)
