Lately, Colby is fascinated with strangers and jail. Here's another convo from last night:

Mom, do strangers go to jail?
Yes, but only bad strangers.
I'm going to hit a bad stranger!
No, you don't want to hit anyone because that's not nice.
What happens if I hit a bad stranger?
You will go to time out.
Mom, you are a stranger.
No, I'm not a stranger, I'm your mom.
You're my mom, but you are somebody else's stranger.

Speechless.
